Just to introduce about scarring. Hyperpigmentation is usually dealt using azelaic, tranexamic or alpha arbutin. These are common ingredients and do you know wearing sunscreen could be a preventive measure for hyperpigmentation? Vitamin C is best paired with a moisturiser without acid actives and sunscreen to reduce pigmentation.
